Restaurant 1909 in Sigtuna specializes in classic Swedish cuisine where by only the best seasonal ingredients are used, often sourced from the surrounding rich farming district.
We create clean tastes that allow each ingredient to blossom in its purest form.

The restaurant also has a well-stocked and carefully sourced wine cellar, and its own bakery that serves freshlybaked bread, home-made marmalades, pastries and Afternoon Tea.

    Enjoy the atmosphere and the tradition in Sigtuna town and with us. From December 22nd of November to December 22nd, we welcome Christmas and serve our classic Swedish Christmas Smorgasbord with traditional delicacies. We offer three sittings per day. Read more...

    Our lunch will return in January, when we will serve lunch again Monday - Friday 11.30 am - 2.30 pm and Saturday 12 noon - 3 pm. We change our lunch menu on a weekly basis.

    We are now serving our Christmas buffet, our À la Carte will return in January. Monday to Thursday 5.00 pm - 9.00 pm and Friday and Saturday from 5.00 pm - 10 pm we offer an evening menu.

    Welcome to a hotel breakfast even if you are not staying with us. Breakfast is almost always served Tuesday – Friday 7am-9.30am, weekends 8am-10.00am, 250 SEK / person. Please contact us before your visit for breakfast.
